Forster Woods 4th Annual Benefit Dinner

Forster Woods Adult Day Center hosting 4th Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction On Friday, May 18th aboard the Michigan Princess Riverboat, Forster Woods Adult Day Center is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their 4th Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction. Please join us for an evening of wonderful food, jazz music provided by Lansing Eastern High School’s Jazz band, and a cruise along the river. Since 2012, Forster Woods has provided needed support not only for those living with dementia and other disabilities but also for those caring for their loved ones. Forster Woods’ mission has been to provide a safe, comfortable and reliable day service for adults with dementia and other physical or mental disabilities. In the United States, 5.7 million people are currently living with Alzheimer’s; and every 65 seconds someone develops the disease. The Alzheimer’s Association reports that Alzheimer’s is the sixth-leading cause of death in our country and like many forms of dementia it is progressive, incurable and merciless. Forster Woods relies on personal contributions and fundraisers to support nearly one-third of its annual operating budget. Your support of our Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction is one way to assure that we will continue to provide high-quality service and care to our participants. Proceeds raised from the benefit and silent auction will go directly to fund services to program participants; including participants’ meals, activities, transportation, and program scholarships. For dinner reservations, to sponsor our event, purchase advertising space in our souvenir book or to make a donation, please visit us at www.forsterwoods.org or call 517-349-3101.
