28th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration |
The 28th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Luncheon will take place on Monday, January 21st, 2013 at the Lansing Center. The keynote speaker is celebrated journalist Jacque Reid.Will Call will be available at the Lansing Center the day of the event from 8:30am until noon. Doors open at 10:30am and the program begins promptly at 11am. Questions about the event can be directed to MLKHolidaycommission@lansingmi.gov.

MLK /MSU/The Commemorative March to Beaumont Tower |
The Zeta Delta Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the official MLK Commemorative Celebration March Captains. For over 30 years, thousands of MSU students, administrators and staff have come together to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King and other Civil Rights activists. This is your opportunity to follow their lead by participating in this historic event. Organizations are encouraged to bring their organizational banners to the march. The March Starts at the MSU Union.
