The keynote speaker is celebrated journalist Jacque Reid.Will Call will be available at the Lansing Center the day of the event from 8:30am until noon. 3:00PM 5:00PM MLK /MSU/The Commemorative March to Beaumont Tower The Zeta Delta Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the official MLK Commemorative Celebration March Captains. For over 30 years, thousands of MSU students, administrators and staff have come together to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King and other Civil Rights activists. This is your opportunity to follow their lead by participating in this historic event. Organizations are encouraged to bring their organizational banners to the march. The March Starts at the MSU Union.
4:30PM 7:00PM MLK /MSU/Commemorative Community Dinner: A gathering of faculty, students, staff and community members to share in the spirit of diversity and inclusion in celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Doors open at 4:45 p.m., program starts at 5:30 p.m.) Akers Dining Hall.
