11:30AM 3:00PM 2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge Adventurous Lansing area residents are needed to plunge into icy water on Sunday, Feb. 24at Eagle Eye Golf Course for the Lansing Polar Plunge. With a crazy costume, a minimum donation of $75 and the courage to take part in this 2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) Polar Plunge, you can help us provide more Special Olympics Michigan (SOMI) athletes with inclusive opportunities. Plunge registration starts at 11:30 a.m., followed by the parade of costumes and Polar Plunge at 1 p.m. The post-plunge party and awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., immediately following the plunge in the Eagle Eye Golf Course Ballroom. Brave individuals that are interested in taking the plunge can pre-register online at https://www.firstgiving.com/polarplunge/lansing2013 or on site the day of the event. You can also make a $10 donation anytime by texting SOMI lan to 52000.
