Beginning with a performance by artist/poet Melissa Dey Hasbrook at 4pm, followed by the SpeakOut at 5:00 in Beaumont Field and candlelight vigil at 6:30, Take Back the Night will culminate with a march from Beaumont Tower to Lansing Capital Building at 7:00pm, with Senator Gretchen Whitmer delivering the keynote speech on Lansing Capital Building's east steps at 9pm.nnOne in six women and one in thirty-three men will be the victim of attempted or completed rape in their lifetime ( Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women ( types of violence occur everywhere. Survivors are everywhere.
