It seems that not everyone enjoyed Chris Brown’s performance at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Pop singer, Pink, criticized his performance by tweeting, “one day if I lip-sync, I hope I do it as well as him.” Chris Brown fans then lashed out at her, making death threats. When Chris got wind to it, he tweeted, “Anyone who is upset obviously is upset with their lives... Make your music...make a difference.. Be better than me! Godbless! Team Breezy! Let’s stop sending death threats! I know y'all bout that life but it's the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims! And that only furthers their pointless existence!''
But “Team Breezy” didn’t stop there. Victoria Secret and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Chrissy Teigen, also took her negative criticism of Chris’ performance to Twitter by saying, “Why sing when you can dance?” Fans sent messages that read, “I hope you are the next 'celebrity' to die" and "you have the brain capacity of a turtle, just die.”
Twitter handles responsible for most of the threats have been deleted.
