
George Zimmerman has now been told to surrender into custody within the next 48 hours. Prosecutors said that Zimmerman has "misrepresented, misled and deceived the court" about a possible passport he has in his ownership and his family's financial circumstances, and they feel he could attempt to leave the country.
Zimmerman, 28, who was charged with second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin, 17, on April 11 has been free on bail since then. While Zimmerman's attornies argue the case, the judge and prosecutors have agreed that he must surrender himself within the next 48 hours.
