For those looking forward to cruising to the Carribean with the Pied Piper of R & B, we have so bad news for you.
R. Kelly has reportedly canceled his upcoming Love Letter cruise -- because the promoters behind the cruise never paid him for it. According to TMZ.com, the company, Concerts Cruise LLC hired R. Kelly to headline the cruise and he agreed to play two shows during a five day in October, sailing from Miami to the Caribbean.
R. Kelly says that he never got paid for the cruise. His rep said, "R. Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans. He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour."
Concerts Cruise sent an email to customers informing them of the cancellation and saying they will "handle all applicable refunds at point of purchase."
