Nicki Pro Obama?
Rapper Nicki Minaj received a ton of heat for her "endorse-like" lyrics on Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 mixtape stating:
"I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy B****es is F***ing up the economy".
Last week the line certainly sent both fans and non-fans of the rapper to Twitter and Facebook deeming themselves no longer a fan.
In an interview, President Obama was asked to address the rapper's "endorsement" for his campaign opponent. He responded:
"[She] likes to play different characters...I'm not sure what was going on with [that]".
Apparently, the role-playing rapper was intrigued by Obama's statement as she posted on her Twitter page yesterday:
" Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do... *sends love and support* @BarackObama".
