The Simpsons meets Family Guy

(The Telegraph) Dysfunctional cartoon fathers Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin will be united in a special episode of The Simpsons in September, and if this sneak preview is anything to go by, it's likely to end in disaster and possibly the end of Springfield.

The Griffin family, known for starring in Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy, descend on Springfield for a single, eventful episode. Bart initiates Stewie in the art of pranking bartender Moe Szyslak and Peter and Homer bond over doughnuts before relationships really unravel.

The clip was first shown at Comic-Con in San Diego on Sunday before being posted to YouTube.

It is one of two hybrid Simpsons episodes that will appear later this year, the second being a mash-up with Matt Groening's other animated series, Futurama.

Former Member of Destiny's Child Arrested!!

(TMZFormer Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin was so drunk when she was arrested Sunday morning ... she was found laying in a random person's front yard and told cops she planned on sleeping in the woods.

TMZ broke the story ... Franklin was arrested early Sunday morning for disorderly conduct, and the details are crazy.

According to the police NFL player Da'Quan Bowers flew Franklin to Myrtle Beach.  The two of them, along with NFL player Ricky Sapp went out on the town Saturday day and night ... and the alcohol was flowing.  They all went back to Sapp's place and it became apparent to everyone Franklin was wasted.

Sapp and Bowers both told police they thought Franklin had been doing drugs.  Bowers told police he was suspicious of Franklin because she would go to the bathroom for extended periods of time.

Bowers and Sapp say they called cops after Franklin went nuts, screaming and slamming doors. They told police Franklin fled. Cops combed the neighborhood and eventually found Franklin laying down in a neighbor's lawn.

Police described Franklin as "highly intoxicated" and "unsteady on her feet," but she denied using drugs. She told police she had nowhere to go and planned on sleeping in the woods.

She was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Chris Brown & Drake Appearing Together on The ESPN Tonight???

(TMZ) Chris Brown is assaulting Drake again ... this time right in the mouth -- but truth be told it's part of a comedy skit at Wednesday's ESPY awards.

Here's what we know from the rehearsals ... the skit begins in a law office, then a locker room and finally in a dentist's office with Clippers star Blake Griffin standing over Drake like Steve Martin in "Little Shop of Horrors."

Blake looks like he's about to go in deep, when a frightened Drake blurts out, "Are you really going to do this?"  Then -- suddenly -- Chris walks in and answers, "No, I am!"

After reading this, you might want to bathe in Purell. The Huffington Post's StyleList assembled a list of the top 10 most dirty, dusty and germy places in your home and how to clean them.

1. Credit/Debit Cards
You're not the only one handling your credit and debit cards. Other people touch them, too - -and who knows when they last washed their hands or what they touched five minutes ago. Even if you only swipe your card and never hand it over, what is lurking inside that card-swipe machine or ATM? Grab some disinfectant wipes and take a minute or two to clean your credit cards. Do let them dry completely before returning them to your wallet.

2. Electronics
Your electronics -- from your cell phone to your e-reader--are coated in germs and the level of contamination is horrible. Some studies show cell phones contain 18 times more germs than toilet handles. Swab them down with disinfectant wipes.

3. Toothbrush Holders
Want to see something gross? Take your toothbrush out of the holder and peer inside. Do you see mold? Discoloration? Grime? That could end up in your mouth! Pour a solution of one part bleach and three parts water into the toothbrush holder and let it soak for an hour. Rinse and dry upside down on a dish rack.

4. The Bottom of Throw Rugs
This is easy and fast to do and will help keep your wood floors cleaner for a longer time. When vacuuming, turn over the throw rugs and vacuum the underside.

5. The Top of Large Appliances
They're too tall for you to see it with a step stool, but the top of your refrigerator, stove vents and other big appliances are dusty and grimy on top. Wipe down the surfaces with white vinegar and rinse with a water-lemon mixture. Dry it with a clean cloth. If you can move them, do the same thing with the bottom of the appliances.

6. Ceiling Fans
Pull out a ladder and look at the top of your ceiling fans. Chances are, there is a thick layer of dust on them, which could contain residue particles that resemble mold on ripe fruit. Turn on the fan, and those particles are dispersed throughout the room. To clean the top of the ceiling fan, put two tablespoons of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spritz the solution into an old pillowcase. Insert the pillowcase around the fan blade and drag the bag along the bag's surface. This will collect and clean the dust. Use a clean cloth to clean up anything that remains on the blades.

7. Toilet Roll Holders
When you flush the commode, water inside the toilet bowl is sprayed around the area -- including the toilet roll holder. Disinfect it once a month with a sanitizing wipe or clean it with a bleach and water solution.

8. Box Springs
Ever look underneath your bed? Chances are the box spring is covered in dust. It's easy to clean with a vacuum hose.

9. Light Switches
Bacteria is easily and quickly transferred from person to person in your home just by touching the light switches. Spray rubbing alcohol or an all-purpose cleaner into a clean cloth and wipe the switch and plate until they are clean and grease-free.

10. Salt and Pepper Shakers
When the salt and pepper shakers are empty, clean them in the dishwasher before refilling them. These common household items are known to contain the highest concentrations of germs that cause cold and flu viruses. Between washings, use disinfectant wipes to sanitize the outside surface.

Action Bronson takes a potty break during a show!!

(TMZ) Talk about having "flow" ... rapper Action Bronson TOOK A PISS in a port-a-potty during a live concert this weekend -- while continuing to RAP during the ENTIRE bathroom break!!!

Bronson was performing his song "Shiraz" at the Ottawa Bluesfest on Saturday when nature called -- but he didn't stop the show ... he grabbed the mic and continued to rap while he strolled to a bank of blue toilets.

Then ... while in the pisser ... he CONTINUED TO RAP -- without missing a beat!!!

He eventually emerged to huge applause ... and continued to rap as if it were no big deal. .The most impressive part -- it looks like he used a paper towel to open the door from the inside so he didn't have to touch the handle ... WHILE RAPPING!!!

If you think racism isn't alive and well, think again!!

These fliers were found in a North Carolina subdivision last Sunday. What would you do if you found this outside your home?

Magic Johnson's firm takes over food service for Lansing schools

(Lansing State Journal) A company owned in part by hometown hero Earvin “Magic” Johnson has taken over food service for the Lansing School District.

The school board earlier this year chose SodexoMAGIC to feed its 12,000-plus students beginning this fall. The company took over from Aramark Educational Services on July 1, the start of the fiscal year.

Johnson — an Everett High School, MSU and NBA standout before becoming a successful entrepreneur — has promised to personally host an annual fund-raising event to benefit the Lansing Promise and HOPE scholarship program.
