Bio: I am Alexis Thomas and I'm a Rap artist from Muskegon, MI. I started writing music back in 2008 but got serious in recording it in 2016 shortly after my father’s passing. He always encouraged me to reach my dreams and that has been my fuel ever since. Tomorrow is never promised so if there is something you want to accomplish in life, it is no better time than the present. I am inspired by Artist such as Mc Lyte, Queen Latifah, and Rapsody. These female artists to me, past and present have always been able to connect with their audiences without making themselves a sex symbol or change who they are in the industry just to fit what others think they should be. These female artists have always demanded respect. I want my music to connect with people the way that my favorite artists have always done for me. This single is a vibey experience about love and lost and just knowing overall you deserve better no matter what. At the end of the day, you have to know your worth and know that the game never changes only the players do.
