Michael Jordan is releasing a new book this month called Michael Jordan: The Life which details his journey to becoming the greatest NBA player of all time! The book isn't all flowers and sunshine though. He writes about how he encountered alot of racism growing up in North Carolina and that at one point he "considered himself a racist." Michael specifically writes about a time where a White girl called him the N-word at school and he thew a soda at her out of anger.
According to The New York Post, Michael says in the book, " I was really rebelling. I considered myself a racist at the time. Basically, I was against all white people." Luckily after much support from his mother he was able to adjust his views on White people and his issues with race! Why do you think Michael is confessing to all of this now, especially with Donald Sterling in hot water over his racist remarks??? Hmmmm....
