On Saturday May 4th, the doubleheader will start at 4:30pm Lansing A vs Rockford Rage. The second bout starts at 6:30pm Lansing B vs Lafayette Roller Derby. The doors will be open at Court One Training Center, 7868 Old M-78, East Lansing, MI, at 4:00pm. Tickets will be available for purchase online at https://ticketstripe.com for a discounted price of $12 plus processing fee. Tickets will always be available at the door and are $15; children 12 and under get in free (one per paying adult). Concessions and adult beverages are now offered in house. If you’re unable to watch in person, the game will be live streamed, starting at 4:00pm, on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjs2JEmxWPOy3iWY9bgZ8BQ The rules of roller derby can be quite confusing, so make sure to watch the informational videos before the first bout starts. The Seventh Annual Hidden Key Fashion show will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Spartan Stadium Huntington Club. A mix and mingle will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the fashion show starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $75 in advance and may be purchased at any MSU Federal Credit Union branch, MSU HealthTeam location, or the Aitch Foundation’s website, www.aitchfoundation.com. Tickets are $100 at the door. Beginning in 2011, the Hidden Key Fashion Show began featuring coaches, community leaders, and former MSU athletes, modeling, speaking, and promoting the early detection of cancer. In its seventh year, the fashion show’s theme will be, “Safari Experience.” Guests of the show can expect to see some of Michigan State’s biggest names in athletics and in the community strutting their stuff on the runway. As well as clothing from Kositcheks, White house Black Market at Eastwood, MooseJaw, East Lansing Threads , Matilda Jane Clothing . Lauren Aitch, former MSU Women’s Basketball player, founded the Aitch Foundation in 2011, whose mission is “to raise awareness of and generate charitable contributions for research into early detection of hidden cancers” after personally being affected by cancer. Since 2013, The Aitch Foundation has donated $300,000 for cancer research in partnership with MSU University Advancement at Michigan State University. The Aitch Foundation partners with MSU Federal Credit Union and Pentecost foundation for the Hidden Key Fashion Show and Aitch Fellowships each year. All proceeds benefit the Aitch Foundation for this research. The Hidden Key Fashion Show is just one of the passions of the Aitch Foundation. The foundation also provides funding each year to support an Aitch Fellow, hosts advocacy days, and helps children find their passions and interests through various programs.
