W.arriors A.ppreciation R.ally

June 9, 2017 To Whom It May Concern: We are inviting anyone that would like to attend our Third Annual W.arriors A.ppreciation R.ally that will be held in Elsie, Michigan. This event is sponsored by our local nonprofit American Legion Post 502. This Year’s theme is “From Then till Now”. Demonstrations, Static Displays, Thank the People that have put their lives on the line for the good of our Country. Participate in some of the demonstrations and be around people that are our Heroes. Things to do; listen to music, get something to eat from the vendors, Air Force Flyovers, learn CPR, put out a fire, see the latest police cars, fire fighting equipment, military equipment, watch Civil War re-enactors, collect W.A.R. items, get a copy of your DD 214, or order up a second set of you metals that you earned when you served in the military. If you are young and are looking for an occupation for when you grow up and or want to become one of these people, start by talking to them. Okay you can’t talk to the pilots in the sky that are doing flyovers but you can talk with other pilots that will be at this event. But maybe you would like to see what it would be like to spend sometime with an active duty police officer, or what it feels like to save somebody’s life talking to a real EMT. Talk with someone that is in the active military and look at their equipment or help put out a real fire fighting scenario with fire fighters. Yes you can start getting some things done on your bucket list that is fun and exciting and do it all in one place. Come to our 3rd Annual W.arriors A.ppreciation R.ally at the Elsie, Michigan Village Park. The Dates are Friday September 15 from 12 noon to 5 pm, Saturday September 16 from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday September 17 from 9 am till noon. The primary day is the 16th when all of the demonstrations and displays will be happening. Yes there will be things going on Friday and Sunday but the only full day will be on Saturday. Want to see what it was like to be encamped with people that are cooking or living out of doors, just like it was done during our own Civil War. The Re-enactors are going to there to show you what they did to when a battle broke out. Some Military Museums will be there to show off older uniforms, weapons, trucks, jeeps and much more. For more information just Google “Warriors Appreciation Rally Elsie, Michigan” and you will see the current flyer.
