

James Butler III
James W. Butler III helped spearhead the Sparrow Medical Group VOA practice which serves the Lansing area homeless. Butler was appointed by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm as Vice President of the Michigan Broadband Development Authority in February 2003.
Butler is a decorated Vietnam War veteran who served as a Platoon Sergeant in the U.S.
Butler a resident of East Lansing has also received numerous community and business awards, including a Certificate of Appreciation for the Blue Ribbon Committee on the Downtown Revitalization, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Minority , and two awards for YMCA “Y” Achievers Program Achiever of the Year.
