
JEFFREY S. BENSON, CPA, MBA
Jeffrey S. Benson is President/CEO of CASE Credit Union, a $250 million financial institution serving over 35,000 members. His responsibilities include overseeing the entire operations. Prior to joining CASE, he served as the Vice President of Operations for Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Michigan State University and subsequently earned his CPA certification. He also received his MBA from Michigan State University. He is a member of various professional organizations, which include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Black Accountants, CUNA Lending Council, and Rotary International. In addition, Jeff currently serves as an board member and /or officer on several boards in the Greater Lansing community which include Sparrow Health Systems (a Mayo Clinic Affiliate), Lansing Community College Foundation and Ele’s Place for Grieving Children. In addition, he serves on two state boards which include Michigan Credit Union League and the Michigan Association of United Ways and two national boards, National Children’s Center in Washington, DC and Public Health Foundation Enterprises (PHFE) in City of Industy, CA.
Jeff has been a frequent speaker at various local, regional and national conferences and taught several accounting related classes at Lansing Community College. He has been listed in several publications of Who’s Who in America and serves as CFO and Trustee at Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit, MI.
