Debbie Foster DeMyers: "I love doing Meals on Wheels. It's an opportunity for me to give back. It's a joy to see someone else is actually relying on us to provide a meal for them and for us to be able to deliver that for them and see a smile on someone's face, it's all worth it."

Rashawn Molden: "In addition to watching out for the public, it can be anything. Somebody's tire is flat.  Just making sure they're okay. Or a grandma that needs help with her groceries. A lot of people gave a lot back to me. I mean that's what I feel like I'm here for anyway, is to help and give back as much as possible."

Lansing Board of Water & Light Remittance Processing Specialist Tracy Tolbert gives back to the Advent House...

Tracy Tolbert: "We serve food at the Advent House, and that's really fulfilling because there are a lot of people who are less fortunate than ourselves. It's very important for me to give to others. And I think that gives them inspiration and hope, you know, to see someone like us in there serving them, because we're no different from anybody else."

BWL Electric Transmission and Distribution Director Wayne Lynn mentors young men at Turning Point of Lansing...

Wayne Lynn: "The main goal of our program is to ensure that the young men that we encounter can grow to be successful, competent, strong men … but more importantly though, I think what it means to me is my ability to invest in lives of people that really, really need it, I love doing it as well."
