Rick Party has spent more than 40 years behind the microphone, building a career that reaches millions while never losing the simple love of radio and the people who listen every night.

Originally from Chicago with strong roots throughout Michigan, Rick’s voice has traveled far beyond the Midwest. In the voiceover world he has become one of the most recognized voices in media. He has been the voice of BET for many years, the voice heard on SportsCenter, and has worked with major television networks including ABC. Even with all of that success, radio has always been home.

There is a story that says a lot about who Rick is. Years ago a teenager named Brion O’Brion would come up to the radio station eager to learn about the business. Rick took time with him, shared what he knew, and encouraged him along the way. That young visitor eventually grew up to become the afternoon host and program director at Power 96.5. Today Brion O’Brion is the one who welcomed Rick back to the microphone and gave him the opportunity to host The Quiet Storm.

Rick has always believed in serving people and helping others find their way. In a beautiful full circle moment, the same opportunity Rick once gave now came back around.

Each night Rick brings that same spirit to the airwaves with smooth music, real conversation, and the kind of late night atmosphere people look forward to after a long day.
